UNB Center for Advanced Studies
The IBM Center for Advanced Studies (CAS Atlantic) is an IBM-Research-based institution dedicated to promoting and cultivating collaborative research between IBM and the University of New Brunswick.
CAS Atlantic is located on the University of New Brunswick - Fredericton campus. The centre is envisaged as a broad based unit having both an education and research mandate. The Centre's first project in the area of Accelerating Java Using Massive Multicore Systems has received funding from ACOA through a contribution from the Atlantic Innovation Fund (AIF).
In Partnership with IBM business units dedicated to research, development, and services, CAS Atlantic provides UNB with a window that spans a relevant cross-section of the Corporation. The Center is a focal point for an effective, coordinated approach to university relations.
