The UNB Information Technology Centre is recognized as the preeminent centre in Atlantic Canada, and a leading centre in Canada, for uniting academia and industry to drive ICT.

To provide a bridge between industry and academia so as to provide education and research solutions to the Information and Communication Technology Industry and to provide ICT industry contacts to members of the UNB community.

The ITC was established in 1998 to carry out its mission and to strive towards its vision. It was established through the generous support of the University of New Brunswick and the Canada/New Brunswick Regional Economic Development agreement. It has carried out research, given courses and performed usability evaluations. The ITC is currently an official University of New Brunswick Centre.
