Call for
Research Papers and Poster (Submissions are due by Monday, March 16, 5:00 pm) As a UNB Computer Science (or affiliated) researcher or student, you are invited to submit a research paper and/or poster to the 2008 CS Research Expo. Papers and posters describing work in progress or completed research are welcome. The content of your paper or poster should include descriptions of the motivation, methodology, and results (if any) with achieved to date of your research. Revised papers and posters from your recent publications are acceptable with a footnote of the original publication. You are welcome submit multiple papers and/or posters. For papers and posters submitted by students, please ask your research supervisors/advisors to check the content before submission. For research papers, the page limit of your research paper is up to 8 pages. The first page should include the research paper title, the paper authors, and an abstract (max. 250 words). The format requirements of your poster paper are: letter size paper with 1” margins on all sides, 12+pt text font size, and single column. Please use more graphical presentations such as figures, diagrams, and tables, instead of pure textual descriptions. Submission file format: PDF or MS Word. All submitted research papers will be refereed. For research posters, the page limit of your poster is 1 page in PowerPoint or PDF with w38.18” x h39.37”. If your research paper is accepted, you are also required to make a poster to summarize your paper for display. You can only submit a poster without submitting a corresponding paper. All papers and posters will be published in the CS Research Expo Conference Proceedings. All presentation posters will be made, without charge to authors, by UNB Computer Science Information Technology Centre.
