Biography:

Roozbeh Razavi-Far is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science and Canadian Institute for Cybersecurity, at the University of New Brunswick. His research focuses on machine learning, big data analytics, computational intelligence, and cybersecurity of cyber-physical systems and IoT devices. He has authored or co-authored more than 150 papers in scholarly journals and international conferences. Stanford lists his name among the top 2% most cited researchers for 2022. He is the recipient of several awards and grants including NSERC-DG, NSERC-ECR, NBIF, USRG, and NSERC-PDF. In addition to Neurocomputing, Machine Learning with Applications, Discover Artificial Intelligence, and IEEE Transactions on Industrial Cyber-Physical Systems journals, he is an Associate Editor at several other journals. He is an IEEE Senior Member and served as a Guest Editor and Chair for several journals and peer‑reviewed conferences, and the Chapter Chair of IEEE Computational Intelligence, and Systems, Man and Cybernetics Societies at Windsor Section. He was the Director of the Learning System and Cybernetics Group at the University of Windsor between 2016 and 2022. His PhD and MASc students received various awards including NSERC Alexander G. Bell Canada Graduate Scholarships, MITACS, and Ontario Graduate Scholarships (OGS).
