NB Mission to MSS Technology Symposium (Mobile Servicing 
Station of Space Station Freedom), NRC Ottawa,
presentation of talk on Applications of Computer Vision and
Image Encoding, NB Dept. of Commerce and Development, 
1987.

NB Mission to Quality Control (QA'92) and Vision (VA'92) 
conference and exhibition, Stuttgart, Germany, NB Dept. of
Economic Development and Tourism, 1992.

UNB Mission to BIW Systemhaus, Germany as a match-making 
effort between BIW's R&D requirements and UNB-CS's 
expertise, UNB and NB Dept. of Economic Development and 
Tourism, 1993.

Negotiation with IBM leading to the donation of an AS/400 
computer system to Computer Science, as a prelude to  
research contracts with BIW, Germany, 1994.

Mission to Telekom AG, Germany, presentation of a survey of
our R&D work on ATM technologies and reconnaissance of
Telekom's activities, 1996. 

Negotiation with IBM leading to the loan of an IBM8285 Nways 
ATM switch and accessories to form an ATM local area network 
in Computer Science, 1997.
