Help Connecting to myUNB Wireless
If you are encountering an issue where you are attemping to connect to myUNB WiFi and the username and password fields clear before you can enter your credentials, try the following steps to manually configure the wireless network in Windows 10.
Right click on wireless icon in the system try at the bottom right of your Windows desktop, it should be near the volume and the date and time. From the menu presented, select the "Open Network & Internet settings" option.
When the Settings window appears, select the "Network snd Sharing Center" option. You may have to scroll down to see this option.
When the Network and Sharing Center window opens, select the "Set up a new connection or network" option.
Click on the "Manually connect to a wireless network" option.
For the wireless network name, enter "myUNB WiFi". For the Security type, select WPA2-Enterprise. Leave the Encryption type AES and the Security Key field empty. You can choose whether or not to automatically connect to this network at this point.
Once you have successfully added the network we need to change some of the connection settings in order for it to work correctly, so click on the "Change connection settings" option.
Click on the Security tab and then on the Advanced settings option.
Make sure the "Specify authentication mode:" option is checked and select "User authentication" from the drop down list, then click on the "Save credentials" button. When prompted, enter your UNB credentials and click "OK". Now keep clicking "Ok" until all of the networking windows are closed.
When you click on the wireless icon you should see the myUNB WiFi network listed somewhere near the top. Clicking on that network will not prompt you to continue connecting to the wireless network. Click "Connect" and you should now be able to use the UNB Wireless network.
