Lab Resources

We offer a number of methods of accessing, both physical and virtual, the software and environment needed to complete your program with us. Here we hope to give you an overview of the options available to you.


In-Person Labs

Every student taking a Computer Science course is able to access our physical in-person labs. These labs are used during course lab time for instruction and are available for your use during the day and after hours. These labs run CentOS and have all of the software and the environment preconfigured for all of the classes needed for your program.

You can find the physical labs at the following locations in the Information Technology Centre (ITC) and Gillin Wing of Head Hall (GW).

Remote Labs

The Remote Labs are designed to allow you to use the lab environment and software from most devices that support an HTML5 compatible browser. You can manage and connect your remote lab session through our web interface. Nearly all of the software used by the courses in our program is available through the remote labs interface.
