Overview

• You will be given a list of topics. You may choose one from this list, or by permission you may come up with your own topic.

• You will need to choose topics in pairs (i.e. every topic must be chosen by at least two people).

• Each topic will have two sides (yes or no, benefit versus harm, and so on). Your report will need to cover both sides.

• You will be randomly assigned a side to present, after you have handed in your draft. Two or more people will present a given topic in a (polite) debate.

• The report has been broken up into 4 parts. More details on each part will be available as we go.
